Mary Eileen Ward  Principal of St. Raymond School

Ms. Mary Eileen Ward began as Principal of St. Raymond School at the start of the 2014-2015 School Year. She was born and raised Catholic and was educated in Catholic schools from first grade through college. She holds multiple Master’s degrees in education, including degrees in Special Education and Education Leadership, and has over 30 years of experience in the field. 

St. Raymond School was nationally recognized as a Blue Ribbon School in 2019 under the direction of Ms. Ward. During the 2019-2020 School Year, the Archdiocese of Chicago recognized Ms. Ward for her outstanding leadership and awarded her the San Damiano Turnaround Award, which recognizes a principal who has been an effective and positive agent of change through programmatic enhancements, enrollment increases, improvements in financial vitality, and a restoration of hope. 

Ms. Ward is dedicated to creating a school staff that is committed to making a positive difference in the lives of the students. She believes in upholding the St. Raymond School traditions of Faith, Academic Excellence, and Service, which will provide the students with a strong foundation both inside and outside of school.
