Generation to Generation at St. Raymond

At St. Raymond Catholic Community, we are called to live in the Spirit and follow the Spirit (Galatians 5:25). Our mission is clear: to rejoice in God’s love for us and share God’s love with all. Our vision invites us to become a people set on fire with the Holy Spirit, joyfully going into the world to bring the love of Christ to all.

As we look ahead, we recognize that this moment belongs to us. We are entrusted with ensuring that St. Raymond remains a welcoming home for generations to come.

It is from this shared sense of responsibility that we launch our Generation to Generation Capital Campaign. This campaign is an opportunity for prayerful reflection and discernment as we consider the path forward for St. Raymond. Through dialogue and consultation with parish leadership, ministry partners, and our parish community, we have listened carefully to where God is calling us now. What has emerged is a clear and faithful path forward, one that aligns our values with essential priorities, ensuring the future we build is both mission-driven and sustainable.

The Generation to Generation Campaign at St. Raymond includes a required component of giving to the Generation to Generation: Answer the Call campaign initiated by the Archdiocese of Chicago. Through the generosity of parishioners, St. Raymond has now fully satisfied this commitment. Funds designated to the Archdiocese support the following essential initiatives:

Strengthen Local Parishes   A portion of parish‑raised funds will provide resources to sustain mission, ministry, and critical facility needs across the Archdiocese of Chicago.

Spiritually Renew Our Parishes   Investment will support outreach, formation, and discipleship efforts that engage the less connected and deepen spiritual life in parish communities.

Support Our Priests   Funding will invest in seminarian education, ongoing formation, and the health and well‑being of active and retired priests.

Assist Vulnerable Communities   Support will strengthen schools and parishes in economically challenged areas through scholarships and the Parish Vitality Fund, sustaining essential ministries and facilities.
