Ministers assist grieving families through funeral liturgy preparation, wake service, funeral liturgy and the committal services. This is an on-call ministry. Team members serve two-week assignments on a rotating basis. Minister of Care training is an Archdiocesan prerequisite (see Minister of Care Training). Additional bereavement training is also provided at the Deanery level along with on-the-job training with a parish Bereavement Minister.
