The MAC (Men of Action and Contemplation) Ministry began in 2006 at St. Raymond as a response to men who had made a CRHP weekend and wanted to be part of a weekly or every other week prayer group.  We use the Mark Link, S.J., “Vision Series” of daily prayer, which invites men to “Pray Scripture in a Contemporary Way,” and follows the daily mass readings and Sunday gospels throughout the year.  Each daily reflection contains a part of a scripture reading, a contemporary story, a question for one’s own life application and a concluding thought for the day.  Each man is asked to find ten minutes each day to reflect and pray over the daily reflection. Groups consist of 3 – 10 men, who support one another in daily prayer and reflection, and share with each other their insights from the daily reflections.  Join a group or start a new one!
