Volunteers in this ministry provide relief to family members caring for frail or dependent people. Volunteers keep adults company by reading aloud, playing cards or just listening and reminiscing. These regular visits can help reduce the stress of the caregiver and enable them to take time away for personal business or to enjoy some recreation. The time commitment is for one to three hours per week. Training is provided.
