TABERNACLE CAMPAIGN
THE POWER OF JESUS IS REALLY PRESENT TO US IN THE EUCHARIST
“Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me and I in them. Just as the living Father sent me and I have life because of the Father, so also those who feed on me will have life because of me. (John 6: 56-57)
You are invited to prayerfully consider supporting the purchasing of a new tabernacle to be placed on a pedestal in the church.
Projected Cost for the new Tabernacle: $30,000 – This goal has been attained!
Pedestal and Installation: $10,000 – We still need this amount to install the tabernacle in the church
Your generosity to this campaign is greatly appreciated and serves as a beautiful reflection of the community’s commitment and ensuring parish renewal and vitality for the next generation.
Please make checks payable to St. Raymond; memo: Tabernacle Campaign
We are unified by an encounter with Jesus in the Eucharist.
We are called to be missionary disciples of Christ, and this journey will require strength and understanding that can only be found in the presence of Jesus in the Eucharist. It is the presence of the power of Jesus in the Eucharist that makes us into the Body of Christ in the world. If that is not central to our spirituality, we cannot fulfill our mission.
WHY MOVE THE TABERNACLE INTO THE CHURCH?
- identifies our worship space as Catholic,
- helps our children to grow up with a sense of Jesus’ presence with them, and
- reminds all of us that the power of Jesus is in our midst, sending us out on mission.
As we seek to renew our parish, the opportunity to bring the tabernacle to a more prominent place in our church: identifies our worship space as Catholic, helps our children to grow up with a sense of Jesus’ presence with them, and reminds all of us that the power of Jesus is in our midst, sending us out in mission.
“Our participation in the Body and Blood of Christ has no other end than to make us become that which we eat.” (Pope Leo the Great)
