St. Raymond Lenten Alms

You are humbly invited to minister to the guests of JOURNEYS | The Road Home and PADS.

During these 40 days of Lent, St. Raymond is being invited to support two major JOURNEYS Programs: their On-Site Shelter and their PADS Sites. JOURNEYS is a community-based non-profit organization that provides shelter and services to prepare people experiencing homelessness or who are at risk of losing their housing. Both of these programs offer a safe place to sleep, warm meals, counseling and workshops. JOURNEYS needs our help!

PADS (Public Action to Deliver Shelter)

Our Savior Lutheran Church (OSLC) in Arlington Heights is the PADS Site we have chosen to support. This Site has absorbed many guests from St. Mark’s PADS Site which our parish has generously supported for 35 years! OSLC now serves over 50 guests weekly! For our Lenten Alms, we will prepare and donate food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner to be served on Monday, March 30 & Tuesday, March 31. Please click on this SignUp Genius link if you would like to contribute by March 14. (All food donations will be collected at St. Raymond on March 29 & 30.)

JOURNEYS | The Road Home

The JOURNEYS On-Site Shelter Program is in need of new cots, pillows, and pillow protectors.

Green Alms Envelopes are available in the Narthex for checks and cash donations, which can be dropped in the silver donation boxes, collection baskets, or at the PMC.
