The Children’s Choir is the mainstay of our popular first Sunday of the month Family Mass which takes place October through June at the 9:30am liturgy. A continuation of the Cherub Choir, the Children’s Choir is made up of boys and girls in grades three through six and provides opportunity for furthering musical skills and liturgical understanding through more challenging music and more frequent participation at masses. The Children’s Choir will also sing for the Christmas Eve and Easter Sunday Family Masses. For those in fourth through sixth grade, there will be opportunities to begin learning the fundamentals of cantoring through a mentoring process which will lead to real life experience at the cantor podium! Rehearsals of the Children’s Choir take place on most Monday afternoons from 4:00-5:00pm in church.
