You have entered the Website of the Roman Catholic Faith Community of Saint Raymond de Penafort Parish located in Mount Prospect, Illinois and a part of the Archdiocese of Chicago. In the name of nearly 3000 families that make up our parish, I welcome you.

Our mission statement at Saint Raymond is "Welcome. Love. Serve." As a people, we try to live the reality of these words to the fullest. It takes great openness and a spirit of acceptance and to extend true welcome and hospitality. It takes a generous heart faithful to believe that God is present and revealed for us in the seeker, the visitor or the stranger. And finally, it takes a deliberate decision to serve, as an answer to our baptismal calling. On our part, each of us must have a heart that is willing to sincerely accept all people who grace the doors of our church, no matter where they are in their journey of faith, and to do as Jesus did.

We invite you join us as at the table of our community's Eucharist. For it is by hearing the encouraging word of the Lord in our Scriptures and taking part in the food of Christ's table together, that the miracle of becoming God's people, the Church, takes place.
