Remembering Our Loved Ones In November

During the month of November, we remember our deceased loved ones in a special way.  Beginning the weekend of October 27/28 the parish’s Book of the Remembrance will be displayed near the Holy Family Shrine for all to enroll the names of deceased family members and friends. Please enroll their names every year. Also at that time, everyone is invited to bring a photograph (preferably framed) of your loved one(s) to mass. Before mass begins, please place the photograph in the Remembrance Space which will be located near the Holy Family Shrine.  Be sure to mark your name and telephone number or email address on the back of the photograph.  The Remembrance Space will be displayed through Thanksgiving, on Thursday, November 22th.  Please plan to leave your photograph on display for the entire time. Thursday, November 1^st is the Solemnity of All Saints—mass will be celebrated at 8:15 a.m., and 7:00 p.m.  Friday, November 2^nd is the Commemoration of All Souls—mass will be celebrated at 8:15 a.m. The Mass of Remembrance will be celebrated on Monday, November 5th at 7:00 pm.  All the faithfully departed will be remembered at this mass, however, in a special way, we will especially remember those who have died in this past year.  If you would like the name of a loved one, who died this past year and whose funeral was not celebrated here at St Raymond included, please call Sister Val at the Parish Ministry Office.
