Event Details

Vatican II is the most recent council of the universal Catholic Church. It took place from 1962-65 at the time of the rise of rock music and the sexual revolution. For the first time in four centuries, the Catholic bishops came together to ask how the Church could respond to the radical changes taking place in societies and cultures across the world.

We will look at a general overview of the council in the context of its time and the new vision for the practice of the Catholic faith that began to emerge from it.
