Training for all Ministers of Care for the homebound, hospitalized, and nursing home residents is done at the Deanery level. Interviews for those considering becoming a Minister of Care precede registration for the training sessions which typically run for six consecutive weeks. Ministers of Care are also called on to assist with the Community Masses when the Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick is celebrated.
