Mission Statement
St. Raymond Preschool is committed to providing a multitude of learning experiences for 3 and 4 year old children in preparation for their school years
and beyond. Our children will enter kindergarten with the necessary skills to succeed in school and with a cultivated interest in lifelong learning.
Philosophy
We believe that a well-rounded curriculum is one that places equal importance
on all developmental areas: intellectual, emotional, social, physical, and spiritual. Developing the whole child will provide a strong foundation for success during
the school years and throughout life.
We believe that a joyful and nurturing teaching style will provide the necessary spark to light the fire of learning in each child.
We believe that learning is not a race for information, but rather a walk of discovery; a vibrant classroom space that is filled with a variety of developmentally appropriate activities and materials will engage the children
to discover and explore their interests and abilities within their own unique timetable.
We believe in forming a partnership with our parents as they are their children’s first teacher. We believe that forming a strong relationship with parents with an emphasis on open, two-way communication will bolster student success.
With our Catholic Faith, we believe in and live out the concept of school as community. We care about one another and reach out in times of celebration
and sorrow.
