Regular Athletic Association meetings take place the first Wednesday of each month with a closed executive session starting at 6:30 p.m. and the open public session starting at 7:30 p.m. in the the Parish Ministry Center.
The objectives of the St. Raymond School Athletic Association are:
- To develop and encourage the moral, mental, social and physical growth of the child.
- To provide and direct a well-planned athletic program for all children at St. Raymond School.
In order to accomplish these objectives, we have developed two programs that are offered to give children the opportunity to participate in athletics throughout the school year.
- Intramural Sports—such as flag football, soccer, floor hockey, and softball are available for participation by all students in grades four through eight throughout the school year.
- Interscholastic Competitive Sports—teams represent St. Raymond School in the Northwest Catholic Conferences for boys and girls in volleyball, basketball, cheerleading, track and girl’s softball.
Athletic Association also sponsors planned activities including trips to sporting events, awards banquets, tournaments and fund-raising.
All parents are encouraged to participate by attending Athletic Association meetings held on the first Wednesday of each month, September through May. Spring and Fall sign-up nights are held for team registration and to encourage parent involvement.
