Catholics Come Home continues the Archdiocesan out-reach to men and women who were baptized Catholics but are not active in the church at present. Television, radio and newspaper ads will be run from mid-December to mid-January. This is an invitation for adults to renew their relationship with the church and the faith community. It is respectful of each person’s unique faith journey. St. Raymond Parish will offer a process that meets the needs of those returning. We genuinely respect the returning Catholics and the choices they’ve made. The reasons for becoming inactive in the church are many: some were differences over church teachings; others were hurt by religious leaders; still others just drifted away from the church community because it seemed meaningless or irrelevant. If you are someone who has been hurt by the church (or church personnel), we ask your forgiveness. We hope this can be an opportunity for healing and for discovering further meaning in life. We also hope you can feel "at home" at St. Raymond.
