A formation process in which men gather to share those things that are important to their lives: spiritual, social and personal.
Christ Renews His Parish is a weekend renewal experience for men and women that begins on a Saturday morning and concludes on Sunday afternoon. It highlights how God is at work in the lives of believers - in their struggles, joys and triumphs. This weekend experience reconnects people with their faith in God and offers an opportunity to establish faith-filled relationships with others. It is a retreat weekend of reflection, community building and a renewal in faith. Following the CRHP weekend, an invitation is extended to be part of a yearlong formation process. This process includes reflection on topics such as: images of God, spirituality, scripture, church, prayer, reconciliation, peace and justice. At the conclusion of the formation process, this group of parishioners will direct the next renewal weekend. After this weekend, their commitment to the CRHP process comes to an end and the renewal process is entrusted to another group of faith–filled men or women. If you are new to the parish or have been inactive, CHRP is a great way of growing in your adult faith, of meeting people and discovering a sense of belonging. If you have been active in the parish for years, CRHP is a wonderful way of re-energizing your own faith journey.
